Courses For Kids – Young Divers – Junior Open Water
PADI Junior Open Water Course – 15,400THB
Requirements
The PADI Junior Open Water Course is available to anyone who is aged 10* years or above, is able to swim 200 metres, tread water for 10 minutes and is in good health.
*(Junior Open Water certification awarded 10 & 11 years of age to a maximum of 12 metres diving with a parent, guardian or PADI Professional: 12-14 years of age to a maximum depth of 18 metres and dive with a certified adult diver)
The course is 3 days and consists of a mix of classroom theory, pool & boat dives:
Day 1 – Classroom and Confined Water Instruction. Start 8am, finish approx 5pm
Day 2 – 3 Boat Dives to Racha Noi & Racha Yai. Pick-up 7.15-45am, return 5pm.
Day 3 – 3 Boat Dives to Racha Noi & Racha Yai. Pick-up 7.15-45am, return 5pm.
If you wish to extend the course over 4 or more days then the addiitonal cost per day is 2500 THB

For 10 & 11 Year Olds
You are old enough to enrol in the PADI Adventure Diver certification.
1 day course with 3 speciality adventure dives. Price 9,900 THB
For 12 Year Olds & Above
You are old enough to enrol in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.
2 day course with 5 speciality advanced dives plus 1 extra dive for free. Price 13,500 THB
Depth Limits
For 10 and 11 years old
A PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years can dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 18 metres.
For 12 to 14 years old
A PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver is qualified to dive accompanied by another certified diver who is at least 18 years old to a maximum depth of 21 metres.
