Similan Islands Diving Day Trips!

Experience 2 dives in the famous diving destination of the Similan Islands national park, with the opportunity to dive Koh Bon on Wednesdays and Sundays – well-known for it’s manta ray encounters on our Similan Islands diving day trip.

The price of this full day trip is 5,600 THB for 2 dives plus 500 THB equipment rental and 700 THB National Park fees. The price for snorkelers / non-divers is 3,600 THB plus 500 THB National Park fees.

Please note this trip is not run by and does not include private guiding with Andy’s Scuba Diving’s staff. We offer it as a booking service for our customers who want to dive there and don’t have time for a Similans liveaboard.

For certified divers only. This trip is not suitable for beginners or those who need a refresher and haven’t dived in a while. You must have dived within the last 6 months.

The Similans is best dived on a minimum 3 day Similans Liveaboards trip when you get to dive all the best sites. The day trip can be a little disappointing for experienced divers.

Park opens mid October and closes early May each year


The day begins in the morning between 6-6.30am when you will be collected from your Phuket hotel by the South Siam boat operators and transferred by minibus to Tabla Mu pier near Khao Lak. There you will board a speedboat for a short ride out to the Similan Islands where you will join the resident liveaboard dive boat.

After a light breakfast you will arrive first dive site for your first dive of the day around 11am and your Similan Islands diving fun really begins.

After a tasty buffet lunch of Thai food, you will be ready for your second Similans dive at around 2pm.

The speedboat will then pick you up from the liveaboard and take you back to Tabla Mu pier by 4.30pm for the transfer back to your hotel. You will arrive back at your Phuket hotel around 6.30pm.

Dive Sites

Similan Islands diving is characterised by giant granite boulder topography, abundant reefs and lots of of fish. Likely encounters include: lionfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, parrotfish, scorpionfish, anemone fish, trigger fish, sweetlips, pufferfish, moray eels, sting rays, turtles, trumpetfish and barracuda. You may also be lucky enough to see leopard sharks, Napolean wrasse, manta ray or a whale shark!
