We get asked this question a lot from our potential guests and our advice is as far ahead as possible especially for the high season months of November to April. From my experience of my first high season managing our Dive Centre, the busiest weeks are the 2 weeks over the Christmas period so if you are planning to book your scuba diving in Phuket the day before during these dates, you could be disappointed as the boats are likely to be fully booked.
To take the stress out of booking at last minute or not getting the date you would like to dive, the solution is to book ahead – a lot of the Dive Centres have really flexible cancellation policies for day trips and courses so if your plans change you can be assured that you will get a full refund usually up to the day before your planned dive.

We aim to be as flexible as possible with any change in plans for our guests, the only thing that is out of our control is if the boats are fully booked which for us is the worse part of our job advising our guests this 🙁 We always look for alternative solutions however, sometimes there just isn’t any options.
